India refuses to accept Japanese plane with humanitarian aid for Ukraine

The Kyodo agency reported that the aircraft Japan Self-Defense Forces carrying humanitarian aid to Ukraine will not land in India. The country's authorities refused to accept the aircraft.

It is specified that the aircraft was supposed to deliver a cargo of humanitarian aid to Romania and Poland neighboring Ukraine through the UN Refugee Commission. India and the UAE were to be used as transshipment points.

The publication added that the issue was previously agreed at the working level, but later refused. The Indian authorities said that the refusal is due to insufficient coordination.
