Deputy director for clinical and analytical work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor Natalia Pshenichnaya said that the epidemiological situation with coronavirus in Russia is now relatively stable, RIA Novosti reports.
“The epidemiological situation in COVID-19 is now relatively stable. The epidemic process of COVID-19 is characterized by low activity, which is reflected in the daily recorded incidence figures, — she said.
The expert added that ups and downs in the incidence can be recorded throughout the warm season.
Earlier head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said that the epidemiological situation in the country had stabilized, however, it is too early to talk about the end of the pandemic. According to her, the coronavirus remains a significant threat to the life and health of citizens, especially those who belong to risk groups.
Add, on April 19, the number of cases of coronavirus in the Russian Federation per day reached the minimum since May 2021 year.
